Research on Copper Ions Removal from Wastewater Using Fe3O4 and Fe3O4- PVP Hybrid Nanomaterials

Wastewater containing Cu (II) ions has become a huge environmental problem worldwide because ingestion of copper affects the human body leading to epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and even death. The researches for new methods treatment wastewater polluted with heavy metals more efficient than conventional ones led us study Fe3O4 his corresponding hybrid -PVP as potential adsorbent nanomaterials removal from industrial wastewater. First, two were synthesized by precipitation method characterized XRD, FTIR TEM analyses. Then, obtained tested within process factors influencing including pH contact time investigated. maximum capacity reached up 97 % under optimal condition using 70% -PVP.
